The Replacement

She awoke to the sound of grinding gears. A peculiar sound to hear at 5 a.m.

Her eyes fluttered open, soulless red eyes were staring back. The figure crept forward and shockingly, atop its head, was the same bow she always wore.

“Who are you?” she muttered groggily.

“I am you,” the robot responded.
